Zatkoff Seals & Packings is excited to announce our Integrated Gasket Solutions! Combining the power of scanners, a knife cutter, and other manufacturing technologies, we are able to replicate parts out of a sample of unknown materials and dimensions — no product specification required.

Gaskets

Using this process, we are able to provide a high-level of customization with low-volume production. This process provides opportunities for our customers that create a quick turnaround for samples and prototypes, improving speed to market as a result. Because no tooling is needed, designs and redesigns are flexible, and the manufacturing process is quick and efficient.

New gaskets can be produced in a variety of materials:

  • Compressed Non-Asbestos Fibers
  • Carbon + Kevlar
  • Graphite
  • PTFE
  • Polyurethane
  • Rubber
  • Foam
  • Cork
  • Silicone
  • Paper
  • Rubber Coated Metal
  • EMI Shielding Materials
  • Thermal Interface Materials (TIM)
Multiple gaskets

This streamlined process is made up of four easy steps:

STEP 1

FTIR scanner identifies the unknown sample material, matching it to our extensive material library.

STEP 2

Scanner defines part geometry to create a 2-D print. At this point, additional product features can be added as needed.

STEP 3

Knife cutter quickly produces a new gasket with the selected material according to scanned dimensions. Offering even more design flexibility, kiss cuts are also available.

STEP 4

Finished gaskets can be marked with part numbers, customer logos, or any other requirements.
