We are currently hiring at our MAUMEE, OH facility. This is a full-time warehouse position with complete benefit package, including excellent health benefits and profit sharing. Typical hours of work would be between the hours of 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday (40hr/week based on 8hr/day staggered shift work schedule).

Essential position requirements include: Speed and accuracy, organization, dependability and being physically capable of long periods of continuous physical exertion. Experience in pick, pack and pull required. UPS and Fed-EX billing experience a plus. This physically demanding position includes both excellent benefit package and working conditions.

Pre-employment process includes background check and basic assessment. Employment dependent upon successful post-offer physical, HPE and substance abuse test. Warehouse Supervisor

Maumee, OH

Summary/Objective

The warehouse/shipping supervisor plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received from suppliers. The supervisor monitors operations operation so parts are distributed to customers in an efficient manner that satisfies internal and external requirements. The position oversees the distribution of approximately $16,000,000; monitors building repairs and maintenance; supervises a team of 7 warehouse associates; manages the process and quality for the warehouse.

Essential Functions
  1. Responsible for the timely receipt, movement, and proper storage of all parts
  2. Schedules and delegates duties for all warehouse personnel
  3. Maintains warehouse, equipment, and building grounds.
  4. Ensures best practices in warehouse management
  5. Manage and participate in Branch Continuous Improvement Program goals: Inbound freight, supply costs, OTD % and Corrective Actions (8D’s) when appropriate
  6. Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner. Interviews and recommends applicants for hire as warehouse and receiving associates.
  7. Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of warehouse and receiving associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary.
  8. Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry. Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
  9. Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
  10. Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and performance against internal and external quality standards.

Preferred Education & Experience
  1. 2 year college degree in related field or equivalent experience
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, pick, pack, pull, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years of supervisory experience
  3. Relevant industry or inventory management experience
  4. Certified Fork-lift Operator
  5. Experience scheduling shipments with LTL Freight, UPS, and FEDEX
  6. Efficient in understanding and utilizing systems and tools used in the day-to-day running of the operation (MS Office, record keeping, and task prioritization)
  7. Experience with RFI/bar code scan systems
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. Frequent bending and twisting of various range and motion requiring physical exertion when handling inventory packages
  2. Ability to visually identify sku’s numbers
  3. Ability and willingness to assist direct reports with completing daily job requirements, tasks by business demands
  4. Ability to stand and walk in warehouse work environment 80% of the time

Process Engineer

Warren, MI

Summary/Objective

The process engineer position is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. This position troubleshoots problems with production and takes corrective action. The process engineer also researches the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment. This position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. This position works directly with quality, analyzing manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection.

  1. Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for manufacturing
  2. Create/edit/maintain necessary documentation
  3. Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.

  5. Assume responsibility for safety/environmental issues and ongoing performance of processes.

  11. Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  12. Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
  13. Review customer source control drawings, specification control drawings and other applicable specifications to determine requirements and/or feasibility of the component.
  14. Interact with production personnel to define and solve manufacturing/design issues and implement cost reduction ideas with regard to company products.
  15. Work with the quality department to define problem areas and implement product improvements based on customer repair/rejection concerns.
  16. Prepare technical data such as qualification test procedures, acceptance test procedures, reports, component maintenance manuals, etc.
  17. Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products.
  18. Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  19. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
  20. Assist in process certification.
  21. Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  22. Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
Preferred Education & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  2. 3 years of experience with seals and gaskets
  3. Proficient in the use of CAD software.
  4. Experience with quality systems
  5. Experience with a flying knife cutter and CNC Machine

Technical Sales Representative

Wisconsin

Summary/Objective

The sales representative sells products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to assist customers in applying the products and services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. Employee would be responsible maintaining and developing business with existing and new customers.

Position Details

Full-time position with a draw plus commission, company paid vehicle, and full benefit package.

Travel

This position requires up to 100% travel in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois territory. Travel outside of sales territory is required as needed to support, sustain, and develop customer business.
