Today, $6.43 might not seem like a historic sale to most, but it certainly was for Zatkoff Seals & Packings back in March of 1959. As the very first sale made by founder Roger Zatkoff to Mayson Manufacturing, it started a commitment to customer service that has through more than 65 years of industry leadership.

How challenging was it to make that first sale back in 1959?

“I found that folks gave me a chance because they knew I was a young salesperson with a family, and how difficult it was to get a business started. A lot of folks gave me a chance based on my past football performance, so I only had one opportunity to get it right,” Roger remembers.

A commitment to customer satisfaction continues to be a cornerstone of Zatkoff’s business model.

“I learned a lot from customers on how to run a business and what was expected-they were my mentors.”

The understanding that the customer can often be our greatest teacher carries through today and is why the company truly values each and every customer. Contact Zatkoff Seals & Packings to learn what we can do for your business today.
