Last week, technical representatives from Zatkoff Seals & Packings and Parker Hannifin’s Engineered Materials Group (EMG) came together for a three-day training event. With a collaborative approach, they utilized new project management tools and practiced skills to help them recognize and address tough issues confronting our customers. With a better understanding of these difficulties, our team of technical representatives can more effectively use Zatkoff and Parker resources to create value for our respected customers moving forward.
During this event, attendees discussed some of the many challenges facing the industry, including the following:
- Excess inventory
- Warranty returns
- Product field failures
- Lack of design support
- Time-consuming accounts payable process
- Inventory count discrepancies
- Re-labeling of received components
- Unmet product launch deadlines
“Zatkoff is a forward-thinking company that is constantly re-engineering its vision. We are committed to investing in internal capabilities that provide the necessary tools for our customers to succeed in their day-to-day operations.” says Hamilton Marques, our Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
