New High Temperature Sealing Performance with Parker Resilon® 4350

Parker has added Resilon® 4350 Polyurethane to its high-performing sealing system lineup. Designed to achieve advanced production, sustainability, and resilience in the face of extreme thermal conditions, Resilon 4350 is the latest achievement from Parker Hannifin, further showcasing their unwavering dedication and capabilities in designing first-rate products that provide unmatched efficiency.

Resilon 4350 Polyurethane incorporates new materials that extend the high temperature operating window 20 additional degrees beyond the existing sealing temperature range of polyurethanes.

That is, Parker's seminal design allows for optimal productivity for applications like piston seals, rod seals, and any energy management applications requiring continuous operating temperatures to 250°F and brief excursion temperatures to 300°F, without fear of melting, leaking, or other critical failure.

In fact, Resilon was tested in a head-to-head comparison with the leading competitor's seal in which it withstood the extreme heat for 20% longer than the competition, while the same high temps exposed a catastrophic deficiency in the leading competitor's seal.

Resilon 4350 Polyurethane was developed from the existing technology of Parker's patented Resilon 4300 Polyurethane that exceeds expectations in rebounding from high temperatures, wear, extrusion, and compression amid variable changes in pressure, load, and extreme environmental contexts.

Parker's proprietary Resilon Polyurethane is the industry-wide benchmark for confronting hydraulic sealing challenges and surpasses the efficiency standards of conventional polyurethanes. From achieving distinguished flex resistance to stellar cut and tear resistance, Parker's sealing materials offer specialized advantages that also include superior dynamic properties.

As an industry leader for dynamic sealing products, in developing Resilon 4350, Parker has once again leveraged its emerging developments in nanotechnology, that, when utilized continuously across applications, service critical hydraulic sealing needs to both withstand extreme temperatures and maintain steadfast control over issues around wear resistance, allowing for overall resiliency.

Additionally, Resilon 4350 is recommended for wipers and O-rings for all types of light, medium, and heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders, shock absorbers, bellows and diaphragms, and bonded parts.
